I love the Koh Samui airport! It’s so chill and tropical, it really doesn’t feel like an airport at all. It’s an easy 40 minutes or so from the Four Seasons Koh Samui. We checked in easily and headed in to find the Bangkok Airways Boutique Lounge.
There are two lounges for Bangkok Airways located inside the Koh Samui airport, the domestic and the international lounges and frankly, I don’t know which one we were in. We were traveling domestically but our group ended up in both lounges. Either way, there was a ton of food everywhere!
To access this lounge, you need to be traveling on the Blue Ribbon Club class or be a FlyerBonus Premier Member
We entered the lounge before our flight around noon on a Tuesday and there was only one other couple inside the lounge. Upon entering, we were each given individual wifi logins.
I love the Asian style sandwiches, always with the crusts cut off. What do they do with all that extra crust in Asia? There were plenty of baked good and sweets avialable, and savory appetizers also.
Great dim sum selection, including:
- Cream Buns
- Roasted Pork Buns
- Shrimp Har Gow
- Shrimp Shumai
- Pork Shumai
Yum Yum!
There was also a selection of Thai desserts that I hadn’t tried yet, including
- Ka Nhom Tian
- Ka Nom Tuay
There were also plenty of hot dishes available that were made to order, including
- Grilled duck with egg noodle
- Spaghetti with Chicken
- Prawn Wonton Soup
- Pad Thai
- Chicken Mussaman Curry Duo Rice
- Chicken Mushroom Chili Paste Salad.
I really wished that we had more time to lounge around, there was so much great food available, including prepared meals that could be ordered, and the buffet-style food that was out.
