Below is a 5-step beginner’s guide to meditation that you can quickly and easily implement to become a meditation master.
Step #1 : Find the right location.
It’s time to grab yourself some much-needed peace and quiet. We could all use more of it in our lives! Try to find a place that you know you won’t be bothered. You might even want to set aside a dedicated and special place specifically for your meditation practice. Find a place that is nice and quiet and dimly lit

Step #2: Keep a straight spine.
A straight spine is the best posture for meditation. Now this doesn’t mean that you need to go and twist your legs into a pretzel. It is important that you are comfortable, but not so comfortable that you are falling asleep. Try to strike a happy medium.

Step #3: Pre-meditation preparation
Sit comfortably between speakers or with your headphones in and begin playing your favorite meditation audio.
Binaural Frequencies are a great place to start.
These frequencies enhance meditation by encouraging the brain to slip into a nice, clean, fully present meditative state. They also help to reduce any mental chatter that might be going on and distracting you from having the most productive meditation session. Next, close your eyes and let them relax, just let go. Take three slow deep breaths, breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try to fill your lungs as much as you can and hold your break for a few seconds

While exhaling, imagine that any tension in your body is leaving with the breath. Imagine that you inhale a great cloud of white air, and when you exhale, the cloud is black because all the negative energy has left your body with the breath.
Step #4: Focus on your breath
After three stress reducing breaths, allowing your breathing to become more natural. Bring your awareness to the sensations of your breath. Try to focus on what it feels like to breathe.
You may notice a tickle as the air enters your nose. You might notice a subtle rise and fall as you inhale and exhale. Observing these sensations is the focus of the entire meditation.

Step #5: Observe without judgment

During a breathing meditation like this, you might find that you mind wanders a lot. That’s ok, it’s totally natural. You might also find yourself judging the sensations that you observe. If you do notice your mind wandering and making these judgments, simply come off this thought pattern and shift your attention right back to your breathing.

With practice, this will become easier and easier to do and you will reap the full benefits of meditation.

Dedicate at least 5 minutes of this practice every day. As you become more comfortable and more experience, you might even want to extend your meditations for longer durations of time or even do them multiple times a day.
