The LA Korea Center Media Day

I was so honored to be invited to attend the LA Korean Center Media day. I am a huge fan of KPOP of course, and Nylon Pink covered a ton of KPOP songs, the favorite of mine being BLUE from BIGBANG. It’s been ten years since I last visited Korea and I am definitely due for a visit soon, I’m so in love with Korean Food!

Korean Cultural Center

There’s so much happening at the Korean Cultural Center! I would recommend the Korean Movie Night, I know that my mom and my brother’s wife would love to attend, they love watching the Korean Soap Operas, they’re obsessed fans. In the past they have screened Snowpiercer and Love Forecast pictured below. Sign up to their mailing list to get updates on the date and title of the next screening and see past screen movies HERE

I was most excited to hear from the Korean Tourism Organization since I am a bit of a traveling buff (and so obsessed with travel hacking at the moment). As many of you know Descendents of the Sun is a massive television series hit to come out of Korea recently. Their is a tour of Korea available which features many of the filming locations from the tv show. CLICK HERE

I’m super intrigued by Medical Tourism in Korea. Korea has the most amazing plastic surgery and it’s affordable! I would totally get my nose done and get my eyes enlarged. There are tourism packages specifically suited to these needs

Here are some foodie destinations in Korean that I am dying to visit.

Chodang Sundubu Village (초당순두부마을) is known for the sundubu (one of my favorites!). Saltwater  from the East Sea is used for the congealing process of the tofu, NOMZ!

Chuncheon Myeongdong Dakgalbi Street (춘천 명동 닭갈비 골목) is famous for dakgalbi, spicy stir-fried chicken with vegetables. The other famous food of this region is makguksu, cold buckwheat noodles. So much Yum!!
