Went to the Redondo Beach Lobster Festival this past weekend on Saturday afternoon. It was convenient because it was busy, not too crowded, so we didn’t have to wait in any super long lines for food. Whole lobster was served on a plate, $27 for a 1lb lobster, which wasn’t cheap after paying $15 for admission. We made the mistake of not purchasing the set meals. The Small Louie package includes admission, a festival t-shirt, a 1.25 Maine Lobster and buttered and herbed red potatoes, buttery dipping sauce, cole slaw and a roll.
The best food stand there, hands down, was The Redondo Beach Crab House serving a Cajun Seafood Mix
Messy but delicious!
They even let me jump in and cook up a batch!
The Lobster Cooking Station!
The lobster rolls were super tiny and went for $12 , I do not recommend! At first we thought that they had accidentally given us the $6 lobster slider instead, it was that small!
There were several carnival games where you could win lobster stuffy prizes! I won myself a little lobster stuffy (actually the basketball vendor felt sorry for me after I missed 3 shots in a row and gave me one!)
